Animusic (for those that don’t know) is a company that makes their own original pieces of music and then creates little computer animations to go along with it. They design fascinating looking instruments or have robotic creations playing the instruments. They released two volumes with a third on the way (though it’s been in the works for a couple years now, but Wayne Lytle [the creator of it] posted an update in August explaining why it hasn’t been finished yet).
Anyway, this list is going to have songs and videos from both Animusic 1 and 2. I’ve also embedded each video so you can watch and listen while you read. So now then, onto the list.

There is no denying that The Beatles is one of the greatest bands (if not the greatest band) of all time. They redefined music and even all these decades later their music is still relevant. Basically every band and every artist (even crappy ones) have listed The Beatles as one of their influences because they know that that makes them seem cool. Because, to put it simply, The Beatles is a cool band. Even not-so-great songs like “I Am the Walrus” and “Come Together” will always be fun to listen to.
So do you consider yourself a Beatles fan? Do you know more than just the major hits? Do you know songs like, “I’m Only Sleeping”, “I Will” and “Two of Us”? Do you know any of the songs from their solo careers (besides John Lennon’s “Imagine”)? Well, if you said yes to all of those questions, then great. If not, I’m here to change that. Now if you know anything about me you’ll know that I really like the Harry Potter franchise (despite some flaws here and there) and you’ll also know that I’m a theatre guy. So all those years ago when I discovered “A Very Potter Musical” (AVPM) I was blown away. It was hilarious, it was well-acted, the songs were really catchy and all-around it was just a lot of fun. It was clear that it was made by fans of the Harry Potter series, for fans of the Harry Potter series. Continue reading “Top 10 Best Songs from the “Very Potter Musical” Trilogy”
I’ve seen many, many horror movies in my life. I love horror movies like crazy, which is why I really hate BAD horror movies. Movies that are supposed to scare me, but instead make me go “meh”, or nearly vomit from the disgustingness (that’s not a word, but I’m using it anyway) in the film. I’m not a fan of slasher movies, and as such have not seen many of them, so they won’t really be on this list. The only good slasher movie I’ve seen is the original Nightmare on Elm Street starring a very young Johnny Depp. Continue reading “Top 5 Best and Worst Horror Movies I’ve Ever Seen”
Look, another top 10 list. You’re welcome, Internet.
Like most people, I find the TV show Friends to be the best sitcom of all time. It’s only a little dated (mainly the first few seasons), but every joke in it is still hilarious. Whenever I see it on TV I have to watch it and quote nearly every line along with the characters. I’ve seen every episode countless times and, at one point, it was the greatest thing in my life when I didn’t have much else. It is and always will be my favourite sitcom. Top 10’s are back! And by that I mean here’s my second top 10 list. I know it’s been about 4 and a half months since the last one but, as promised, here are my top 10 favourite bands that everyone should have at least heard of.
Before we get to the list just a few honourable mentions (not every list will have this, though):
The All-American Rejects (yes…I know, but I like them)
The Script (at least their first 2 albums, I didn’t really care for the third one)
And now onto the actual list: Continue reading “Top 10: Favourite Bands That Everyone Should (Hopefully) Know”
This is my first top ten list on this blog. Doing top tens was one of the things I mentioned a month ago when I first brought up doing editorials. So in this first top ten list I’m going to talk about my top ten favourite bands that seem to be rather obscure. Now they’re not all indie bands, some are just older bands that were prevalent in their time, but have since moved into obscurity, and some are bands that barely anybody seems to know exist despite actually being part of a record company.
Before we get to the list, just some honourable mentions:
Versus the World
The Guess Who (like I said, older bands that have become obscure)
And now onto the actual list: Continue reading “Top 10: Favourite Bands That Nobody Knows”
